  1. Who are Maintainers?A Maintainer is a trusted community member responsible for keeping CheatsDB listings accurate & up to date. Maintainers usually focus on products within a specific game category, but may also be assigned to multiple games depending on their experience. The Maintainer role is divided into two levels: Curator - is a probationary Maintainer. This role is usually assigned to new contributors while we evaluate their activity, accuracy, judgment, and ability to work with CheatsDB standards. Maintainer - is a trusted contributor with expanded permissions. Within their assigned jurisdiction, Maintainers may update certain information without requiring additional approval from CheatsDB staff. Maintainers do not "own" listings. Their role is to keep listings reliable and useful for the community. Can Maintainers be affiliated with projects?Yes and no. It depends on the type of affiliation and the level of control the person has over the project. If a person holds a leadership, ownership, development, or decision-making position in a project, they are not allowed to maintain the game category where their product is listed. This is considered a direct conflict of interest. If a person is affiliated as support staff, reseller, community manager, or in another lower-level role, they may still be allowed to become a Maintainer, but with restrictions. Affiliated Maintainers are not allowed to: Set the Verified status for affiliated products. Write official CheatsDB reviews for affiliated products. Classify a product as Trusted on their own while this process is still handled manually. Make decisions that directly benefit their own product, team, reseller operation, or close business partners. Affiliation must always be disclosed. Hiding a conflict of interest is treated more seriously than having one. Can I skip the probation period and become a Maintainer immediately? This is handled on a case-by-case basis, but in most cases the answer is no. If the game category you want to maintain is already active and contains listed products, a probation period is usually required. This allows us to verify that you can work accurately, stay neutral, and handle existing listings responsibly. If the category is inactive or simply missing, the requirements may be more flexible. Contributors who are willing to build and maintain a missing game category from the ground up have a much higher chance of being accepted directly or fast-tracked. TLDR: maintaining an existing active list requires more trust. Building a new inactive list gives you more room to prove yourself. Maintainer RequirementsMaintainer requirements are divided into mandatory and optional requirements. Optional requirements are not strictly required, but applicants who can meet them will receive higher priority during review. Mandatory RequirementsStay informed about market news, provider updates, product changes, detections, scams, shutdowns, and other relevant events. Keep product information accurate and up to date within their assigned game category. Add new products that are available on the market. Help archive all relevant products/orgs, including Trusted, Untrusted, Scam, and Discontinued products. Process user submissions (requests/reports) in the Database Request Center. Check user reviews for valid Proof of Purchase. Follow CheatsDB standards when editing listings, statuses, classifications, and product data. Optional RequirementsVerifying products directly. Writing detailed product reviews based on real testing. Recording video footage & screenshots during verification. Providing raw verification footage to CheatsDB for editing, publication, and future use on the platform or YouTube. Applicants who can verify products and provide usable technical evidence are usually considered more valuable. How can I apply? At the moment, all Maintainer applications are submitted and reviewed through private messages. A dedicated application form will be available in the future. When applying, please clearly state that you want to become a Maintainer for a specific game category. Your application should include: The game or category you want to maintain. Your cheating experience (with proofs of your experience where possible). Your current or past involvement with any providers, resellers, teams, or communities. Links to your profiles on other forums or platforms. A short explanation of why you want to maintain this category long term. We are looking for people who know what they are doing and are willing to maintain their assigned category on a long-term basis. If you only want to submit a few corrections or report outdated information, you do not need to apply for Maintainer. For that, please use the Product Listing form or the request/report options available on each product page. 2. We are proud to finally introduce CheatsDB 2.0, the biggest update to the platform so far. This update is a real transition to a new version of CheatsDB and a massive improvement across almost every part of the platform. Almost everything has been reworked, except for a few systems that are currently waiting for their turn. Because of that, writing a fully detailed changelog would take more than a single day. Instead, we will show you the main new features and leave some room for you to explore the platform yourself. CheatsDB 2.0 Update TrailerSome of the new features were already shown in our official trailer. If you have not seen it yet, you can watch it below. New Platform ArchitectureYou have probably already noticed that the forum is now located on the community subdomain, while the main part of the website is located on the main domain. Unfortunately, our previous plan was to build the entire ecosystem inside the forum engine. Over time, this approach started to look less and less practical. Halfway through development, we decided to rethink the whole idea and came to the conclusion that the main functional part of the website should be developed from scratch, without relying on third-party engines. At the same time, the login system, users, groups, and forum will continue to run through the forum engine. Because of this, when you log in on the main part of the website, you will be redirected to the forum first and then returned back to the main site. This architecture will help us scale much faster and implement many of the ideas we already have planned. Updated Forum EngineAs you can see, the forum has been completely refreshed and now has a more modern and professional design. However, in terms of user-facing functionality, it has been simplified for now. We will gradually add the necessary applications and features back, but our main focus will remain on the main part of the website. Software Database PageThis section is fairly simple. One of the new additions is the product counter for each category. We also separated categories into Games and Software. The search bar has been removed, but this is temporary. We may bring it back directly to this page, but we are also already working on a global search system that will search across all platform systems, similar to Spotlight on MacOS. Product List PageThis page has received a major redesign while keeping a similar structure, with a few important changes. We collected feedback over the past few years and used it to improve the page. This page now contains the following parameters: Number of listed products across all groups. Last update date, which is updated automatically. At the moment, this value is not fully accurate and only updates when new products are added. This will be fixed in the next update. List of assigned maintainers. Product list: Product number. Product name. This refers to the product itself, not the organization, although in most cases they are the same. Trust Score, synced with organizations. The Trust Score system itself is currently being reworked. Rating, based on all reviews. Detection, which displays the Detection Rate and End Date of the latest detection. If the End Date is not set, it is automatically extended indefinitely until the event is resolved. Style, which is the short name of the Playstyle. Features, which currently display the following parameters: HWID Spoofer, Streamproof, Private, and Limited. Compatibility, which displays the following parameters: Supported Windows, Supported Linux, Product Type, and Supported CPU. Payment Methods, show all available payment methods across all offers. Price, shows the minimum product price across all offers. Filtering SystemWith this new feature, finding the product you need has become much easier. We added a basic set of filters, which should be enough for the first version. If something important is missing, let us know and we may add the required filter. At the moment, filtering by Trust Score does not work. This will be fixed in the next update. New List Display ViewSince displaying the full table properly on mobile devices is almost impossible, this new display view became a very useful addition. We also believe that many desktop users will actively use it as well. In the future, this view will be improved further so closed cards do not look as empty as they currently do. Product PageWe tried to create a clean page that is not overloaded, while still keeping it informative. We will only cover the main features that may raise questions or were not shown in the trailer. CheatsDB Review sectionThis section is only displayed if the product has been verified by us. It is worth mentioning that all products verified during V1 have lost this status and now require re-verification. This section is controlled either by management or by maintainers. Visually, it looks almost identical to the user reviews below, but it carries slightly more weight because it represents the official CheatsDB review of the product. Status & User Actions Side-Bar PanelUser Actions are requests submitted through forms. Status is more interesting. It has three states. Safe to use means that, based on the information available to us, the product can currently be used without major known issues. Warning means that we have received a certain number of reports over the last 7 days. For now, this threshold is 5 reports per product, after which the status changes. There are limits in place that prevent a single user from submitting more than one report. Alert means that we have information indicating that the product has an active detection, or that a detection was resolved less than two weeks ago. Event TimelineThe Event Timeline displays product releases, detections, downtimes, and discontinuations. Detections & Downtimes contain the most detailed information. We display both their Start and End dates. To avoid questions from the community and organizations themselves, we provide evidence in the form of screenshots and descriptions. Some dates, especially End Dates, may not always be fully accurate. For example, we may have a confirmed detection Start Date, but no confirmed date when it was resolved. In such cases, we usually set the End Date to 30 days after the Start Date, unless we have information confirming that the issue was resolved sooner. Features ListCheatsDB can now display product features. At the moment, this information is only available for a small number of products because filling out this section takes a lot of time. However, the feature itself is useful. In the future, organizations or resellers will be able to fill out this section themselves, while users will be able to filter products by the features they need. Pricing & SellersThis feature is not fully developed yet and may not be very useful at first, since only a limited number of sellers will be added initially. However, the system has a lot of potential in the future. Imagine looking for the best offer for Exception or Reported Spoofer across dozens of sellers, while filtering by payment method, price, and the lowest possible fee for your selected payment method. This system will become much more useful once we develop the Reseller Database and Organization Database. These systems will be almost autonomous and will not require constant involvement from the CheatsDB team, as they will be managed by representatives themselves. For now, you can suggest trusted sellers for products by using User Actions and submitting a request. User ReviewsThis section is dedicated to one of the most important parts of the platform - real user experience that is not controlled by providers or resellers. You can share your genuine experience with a product without being afraid that it will be removed just because it is negative. This experience is collected over time and does not disappear after another Discord server termination. It will also be reviewed by us for validity as a neutral middleman. Please note that when leaving a review, you must follow the platform rules. Most importantly, your review should be based on real experience, should not include insults, and should contain valid proof of purchase (as well as proof of usage if possible). Evidence can be made public by selecting the checkbox at the end of the review form. Otherwise, it will only be visible to you and the maintainers. Database Request CenterThis is our support and request processing center. Since CheatsDB is focused on being community-driven, we developed a professional system for handling reports, corrections, and suggestions. A request can be created in just a few minutes and processed just as quickly by the first maintainer who sees it. This is much better than private Discord messages or an outdated forum-based system, which does not make much sense for this kind of workflow. Each request is structured and designed for convenient processing. Inside every request, there is a Chat that remains active while the request has the Processing or On Hold status. That is all for now. This update overview can be considered complete. What you have seen is not a fully finished product yet, but rather a strong foundation that we plan to continue building over the next two months by adding core features and systems for more efficient expansion. Please note that the platform is still in active development, and some previous functionality will not be available at first. However, work on bringing it back is already in progress. We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and bug reports if you find anything. You can submit them either on the forum or in our Discord. Stay with us and stay tuned for future updates!
  3. These rules apply to all areas of CheatsDB, including user profiles, reviews, comments, reports, organization pages, reseller pages, product pages, Discord-related features, private messages, support tickets, and any other public or private area connected to the platform. Staff decisions, including warnings, infractions, listing restrictions, removals, and bans, are handled by the CheatsDB team. Public arguments about penalties, reports, or moderation decisions are not accepted. If you believe a decision was incorrect, contact Support privately. 1. Critical ViolationsThe following violations may result in an immediate infraction, listing removal, account restriction, or permanent ban: Scamming, fraud, chargeback abuse, impersonation, or any attempt to deceive users. Spreading malware, stealers, RATs, keyloggers, token grabbers, or any other malware. Promoting illegal activities such as carding, phishing, DDoS services, botnets, or unauthorized access. Attempting to evade a ban, bypass platform restrictions, manipulate evidence, or abuse multiple accounts. CheatsDB may also restrict users or organizations that are considered unsafe for the community, even if their exact behavior is not listed above. 2. Severe ViolationsThe following behavior is not allowed and may lead to strong moderation action: Posting fake reviews, fake proof of purchase, edited screenshots, or misleading evidence. Advertising products, shops, Discord servers, or services in places where promotion is not allowed. Impersonating CheatsDB staff, verified organizations, or other users. Harassing, threatening, doxxing, blackmailing, or targeting users outside of the platform. Accusations must be based on evidence. CheatsDB is not a place for drama, revenge posts, or pressure campaigns against competitors. 3. User ConductUsers are expected to communicate in a normal and respectful way. Insults, baiting, excessive trolling, racism, extreme toxicity, and repeated hostile behavior are not welcome on CheatsDB. Disagreements are allowed. Personal attacks are not. Criticism of a product, reseller shop, organization, or service should focus on facts, experience, and proof rather than insults or assumptions. Do not spam comments, reviews, reports, direct messages, or support requests. Repeating the same message, flooding discussions, or abusing platform features may result in restrictions. 4. Reviews, Reports, and EvidenceReviews and reports are one of the most important parts of CheatsDB. They must be honest, relevant, and based on real user experience. When submitting a review or report, include enough context for staff and other users to understand the situation. Screenshots, order IDs, chat logs, payment proof, and other evidence may be requested when needed. False reports, staged evidence, manipulated screenshots, or coordinated review abuse are treated as serious violations. This applies to both positive and negative reviews. CheatsDB may remove, hide, or mark reviews and reports if they are unverifiable, misleading, abusive, outdated, or submitted in bad faith. 5. Listings, Products, and AdvertisingOrganizations, reseller shops, and products listed on CheatsDB must follow platform rules and any additional requirements set by staff. A listing on CheatsDB does not automatically mean that a product is endorsed, guaranteed, or risk-free. It means the product, shop, or service exists on the platform and can be reviewed, tracked, and documented. Do not advertise unknown or external services in public areas unless the rules of that area allow it. Products, shops, or services already listed on CheatsDB are treated as platform-registered entries, so this restriction may not apply to them in the same way. Misleading claims about features, detection status, safety, support, pricing, or ownership may result in warnings, infractions, listing notes, or public violations. 6. Accounts and AbuseEach user is responsible for their own account. Sharing, selling, or using multiple accounts to avoid restrictions may lead to moderation action. The following behavior is not allowed: Using multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, ratings, votes, reports, or reputation. Creating new accounts to bypass bans, mutes, restrictions, or penalties. Pretending to be a customer, competitor, staff member, or organization representative. Abusing bugs, private endpoints, platform systems, or moderation tools. If you believe there is a valid reason to use more than one account, contact Support before doing so. 7. Violations and PenaltiesCheatsDB uses warnings, infractions, restrictions, listing notes, temporary bans, and permanent bans depending on the severity of the violation. Minor issues may result in a warning first. Repeated minor issues can become infractions. Critical violations may result in immediate action without prior warning. Penalties are handled case by case. Staff may be stricter with users who repeatedly cause issues, abuse trust, or harm the community. Staff may also be more lenient when a user cooperates, provides context, or clearly made a minor mistake. CheatsDB reserves the right to act outside of the standard penalty flow when needed to protect users, the platform, or the integrity of the database. 8. Final NoteCheatsDB exists to document products, services, resellers shops, user experiences, and community-relevant information as clearly and fairly as possible. By using CheatsDB, you agree to follow these rules and understand that the platform may change over time. Features, categories, moderation systems, listing requirements, and enforcement methods may be adjusted as CheatsDB continues to develop.
  4. Product Classification NoticeThis classification framework is not fully finalized as of May 2026, as we currently do not have enough automated mechanisms in place to maintain it at a near-ideal level. Once these systems are introduced in the near future, we will revisit and update this regulation to ensure a more accurate, transparent, and automated distribution of products across groups. The primary factor used by the future classification system will be Trust Score. After its rework and testing phase is completed, the new algorithm will take effect. Trusted GroupProducts are placed into the Trusted group if they meet the relevant criteria. Please note that all evaluations and final decisions are made by the platform's senior management team. Factors that may influence the outcome include: CheatsDB reviews and Event history1 Transparency and accuracy of the following pages and resources: Legal information (Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy) Status pages2 Any historical infractions issued in the past, including scam cases, poor customer support, inadequate product maintenance, failure to follow stated Terms of Service or Refund Policies, etc. The quality of support and professionalism of project representatives The quality, completeness, and accuracy of product information presented on the store and other product-related resources3 Product verification and verification outcome 1 In this context, both reviews and events are important. A product with a lower rating and a high detection rate has a higher chance of being placed in this group than a product with a perfect score based only on 2 reviews and an unknown detection/downtime history. 2 Product status pages are evaluated based on several factors, including whether the latest detection or downtime is displayed, the history of detections and downtimes, the accuracy of the status, and how quickly it is updated. 3 Only resources and information provided by the organization itself are taken into account, not information provided by its resellers. If an organization has not taken the time to clearly describe its products, its chances of being placed in the Trusted group are lower. Untrusted GroupProducts are placed into the Untrusted group if they do not qualify for any of the other three groups. This is the default classification. Scam GroupProducts are placed into the Scam group for the following reason: One or more active violations are present Discontinued GroupProducts are placed into the Discontinued group for the following reason: A "Discontinued" event has been added
  5. This process has been made significantly easier, you can now do it without having to contact the platform team. Here's what you need: You must be registered on our platform. You need to claim your organization. Log in to the Dashboard. We use an SSO system, so this only takes a couple of clicks. Navigate to the Software Database tab and select the product you wish to edit. Please note that all changes are subject to review and must be approved before going live. You can track the status of your changes in the DRC.
  6. If you are a representative of the organization, you will need to contact us directly using any of the available communication methods below. Only the platform management can assist with this. You can reach us via the contacts listed below or through the contact form. Note: This claiming process is temporary and will be updated once the system is reworked in the near future. 8. Whether you are a regular user or an organization representative, the process is quick and straightforward. More information is available here: https://cheatsdb.org/onboarding/listing
  9. This indicates that your request requires more time to process than usual.
  10. We've prepared a convenient system for both sides. Simply navigate to the product page and locate the Status & User Actions block in the sidebar. Example To submit a request regarding the product, click Send Request. To file a report, click the RED button. A form will appear where you can select a specific reason, fill in the details and submit it. Easy as that. You can track the status of your submission here: https://cheatsdb.org/drc We currently support 3 types of user requests and 3 types of reports for a specific product. Requests: Product Verification Trust Score Update Information Update Reports: Scam Report Detection Report Downtime Report
  11. Maintainers are a group of members divided into 3 tiers (Global Maintainers, Maintainers and Curators - learn more here), responsible for keeping product information up to date within their assigned categories. While you are welcome to contact them directly via the forum or their provided contact details, we recommend using the designated forms and resolving all matters through the DRC. Learn more: https://community.cheatsdb.org/support-center/20_software-db/how-can-i-report-a-product-or-notify-you-about-incorrect-information-r33/
  12. Every directory features a Last Updated indicator displaying the date of the most recent change detected in that category. Example This includes: New products being added Updates to product details and parameters
  13. Since moving to the updated version of the platform, all changes are applied within 30 minutes, though they typically go live instantly. This means that as soon as we receive new information, it is almost immediately reflected in the list or on the product page.
