A brief overview of all user groups currently available on the platform. This article will be updated as CheatsDB continues to grow.
Management
Group of members who are fully responsible for maintaining and developing CheatsDB.
Grants the following permissions:
Full access to CheatsDB platform.
Full access to third party resources/social platforms, etc. controlled by CheatsDB.
Developers
Group of members who mainly work on updates and improvements to the CheatsDB platform.
Grants the following permissions:
Partial access to the platform, mostly to back-end systems to work on themes, engine, applications and more.
Global Maintainers (new)
Group of members who manage various sections of the main platform (forum access is not included). Granted global access.
Grants the following permissions:
Creating and editing categories in the Software Database.
Creating and editing products in the Software Database.
Creating and managing organizations.
Creating and managing resellers.
Full access to the DRC.
Maintainers (new)
Group of members responsible for managing one or more categories in the Software Database, depending on their assignment.
Grants the following permissions:
Partial access to create and edit products within their assigned category. No approval required to update product information.
Partial access to the DRC - can respond to requests on behalf of the team and update their status, limited to requests related to their assigned category.
Curators (new)
Group of members responsible for managing one or more categories in the Software Database, depending on their assignment.
Grants the following permissions:
Similar access to Maintainers, but with fewer permissions. On top of that, requires approval to update product information and cannot create new products.
Providers
Group of members responsible for managing onboarded organizations and their products listed in the Software Database. Granted to organization owners and administrators.
Grants the following permissions:
Full access to their product and organization via the Dashboard.
Editing product information with further approval by the platform team through the Database Request Center.
Ability to respond to user feedback on behalf of the organization (planned).
Priority processing of requests in the DRC.
Contributors
Group of members who contribute to the development of this platform in a variety of ways, it can be either helping to find information, writing new guides & detailed product reviews or even suggesting something new and interesting.
Grants the following permissions:
Option to change username without Management approval.
Bypassing automatic content moderation.
Increased limits for adding media content.
Premium
Group of members who helped the CheatsDB platform financially by purchasing a paid subscription here.
Grants the following permissions:
Access to supporters-only chatbox room (Discord server).
Access to various platform features.
Increased website limits.
