CheatsDB 2.0 is now available!

  • Management

We are proud to finally introduce CheatsDB 2.0, the biggest update to the platform so far.

This update is a real transition to a new version of CheatsDB and a massive improvement across almost every part of the platform. Almost everything has been reworked, except for a few systems that are currently waiting for their turn.

Because of that, writing a fully detailed changelog would take more than a single day. Instead, we will show you the main new features and leave some room for you to explore the platform yourself.

CheatsDB 2.0 Update Trailer

Some of the new features were already shown in our official trailer. If you have not seen it yet, you can watch it below.

New Platform Architecture

You have probably already noticed that the forum is now located on the community subdomain, while the main part of the website is located on the main domain.

Unfortunately, our previous plan was to build the entire ecosystem inside the forum engine. Over time, this approach started to look less and less practical. Halfway through development, we decided to rethink the whole idea and came to the conclusion that the main functional part of the website should be developed from scratch, without relying on third-party engines.

At the same time, the login system, users, groups, and forum will continue to run through the forum engine. Because of this, when you log in on the main part of the website, you will be redirected to the forum first and then returned back to the main site.

This architecture will help us scale much faster and implement many of the ideas we already have planned.

Updated Forum Engine

As you can see, the forum has been completely refreshed and now has a more modern and professional design.

However, in terms of user-facing functionality, it has been simplified for now. We will gradually add the necessary applications and features back, but our main focus will remain on the main part of the website.

Software Database Page

This section is fairly simple.

One of the new additions is the product counter for each category. We also separated categories into Games and Software.

The search bar has been removed, but this is temporary. We may bring it back directly to this page, but we are also already working on a global search system that will search across all platform systems, similar to Spotlight on MacOS.

Product List Page

This page has received a major redesign while keeping a similar structure, with a few important changes. We collected feedback over the past few years and used it to improve the page.

This page now contains the following parameters:

  • Number of listed products across all groups.

  • Last update date, which is updated automatically.
At the moment, this value is not fully accurate and only updates when new products are added. This will be fixed in the next update.

  • List of assigned maintainers.

Product list:

  • Product number.

  • Product name. This refers to the product itself, not the organization, although in most cases they are the same.

  • Trust Score, synced with organizations. The Trust Score system itself is currently being reworked.

  • Rating, based on all reviews.

  • Detection, which displays the Detection Rate and End Date of the latest detection. If the End Date is not set, it is automatically extended indefinitely until the event is resolved.

  • Style, which is the short name of the Playstyle.

  • Features, which currently display the following parameters: HWID Spoofer, Streamproof, Private, and Limited.

  • Compatibility, which displays the following parameters: Supported Windows, Supported Linux, Product Type, and Supported CPU.

  • Payment Methods, show all available payment methods across all offers.

  • Price, shows the minimum product price across all offers.

Filtering System

With this new feature, finding the product you need has become much easier. We added a basic set of filters, which should be enough for the first version. If something important is missing, let us know and we may add the required filter.

At the moment, filtering by Trust Score does not work. This will be fixed in the next update.

New List Display View

Since displaying the full table properly on mobile devices is almost impossible, this new display view became a very useful addition.

We also believe that many desktop users will actively use it as well. In the future, this view will be improved further so closed cards do not look as empty as they currently do.

Product Page

We tried to create a clean page that is not overloaded, while still keeping it informative. We will only cover the main features that may raise questions or were not shown in the trailer.

CheatsDB Review section

This section is only displayed if the product has been verified by us.

It is worth mentioning that all products verified during V1 have lost this status and now require re-verification.

This section is controlled either by management or by maintainers. Visually, it looks almost identical to the user reviews below, but it carries slightly more weight because it represents the official CheatsDB review of the product.

Status & User Actions Side-Bar Panel

User Actions are requests submitted through forms.

Status is more interesting. It has three states.

  • Safe to use means that, based on the information available to us, the product can currently be used without major known issues.

  • Warning means that we have received a certain number of reports over the last 7 days. For now, this threshold is 5 reports per product, after which the status changes. There are limits in place that prevent a single user from submitting more than one report.

  • Alert means that we have information indicating that the product has an active detection, or that a detection was resolved less than two weeks ago.

Event Timeline

The Event Timeline displays product releases, detections, downtimes, and discontinuations.

Detections & Downtimes contain the most detailed information. We display both their Start and End dates. To avoid questions from the community and organizations themselves, we provide evidence in the form of screenshots and descriptions.

Some dates, especially End Dates, may not always be fully accurate.
For example, we may have a confirmed detection Start Date, but no confirmed date when it was resolved. In such cases, we usually set the End Date to 30 days after the Start Date, unless we have information confirming that the issue was resolved sooner.

Features List

CheatsDB can now display product features.

At the moment, this information is only available for a small number of products because filling out this section takes a lot of time. However, the feature itself is useful.

In the future, organizations or resellers will be able to fill out this section themselves, while users will be able to filter products by the features they need.

image.png

Pricing & Sellers

This feature is not fully developed yet and may not be very useful at first, since only a limited number of sellers will be added initially. However, the system has a lot of potential in the future.

Imagine looking for the best offer for Exception or Reported Spoofer across dozens of sellers, while filtering by payment method, price, and the lowest possible fee for your selected payment method.

This system will become much more useful once we develop the Reseller Database and Organization Database. These systems will be almost autonomous and will not require constant involvement from the CheatsDB team, as they will be managed by representatives themselves.

For now, you can suggest trusted sellers for products by using User Actions and submitting a request.

User Reviews

This section is dedicated to one of the most important parts of the platform - real user experience that is not controlled by providers or resellers.

You can share your genuine experience with a product without being afraid that it will be removed just because it is negative. This experience is collected over time and does not disappear after another Discord server termination. It will also be reviewed by us for validity as a neutral middleman.

Please note that when leaving a review, you must follow the platform rules. Most importantly, your review should be based on real experience, should not include insults, and should contain valid proof of purchase (as well as proof of usage if possible).

Evidence can be made public by selecting the checkbox at the end of the review form. Otherwise, it will only be visible to you and the maintainers.

image.png image.png

Database Request Center

This is our support and request processing center.

Since CheatsDB is focused on being community-driven, we developed a professional system for handling reports, corrections, and suggestions.

A request can be created in just a few minutes and processed just as quickly by the first maintainer who sees it. This is much better than private Discord messages or an outdated forum-based system, which does not make much sense for this kind of workflow.

image.png

Each request is structured and designed for convenient processing.

Inside every request, there is a Chat that remains active while the request has the Processing or On Hold status.

image.png

That is all for now. This update overview can be considered complete.

What you have seen is not a fully finished product yet, but rather a strong foundation that we plan to continue building over the next two months by adding core features and systems for more efficient expansion.

Please note that the platform is still in active development, and some previous functionality will not be available at first. However, work on bringing it back is already in progress. We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and bug reports if you find anything. You can submit them either on the forum or in our Discord.

Stay with us and stay tuned for future updates!
