Why am I forced to set up 2FA authentication?

2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your phone, as well as a password. This makes it much harder for unauthorised people to access your account, even if they have your password.

But why exactly am I being forced to set this up?
It's much simpler than it seems, your profile has access to private areas/features on our platform, to reduce the risk of unintentional information leakage we came up with this solution.
